Quick Guide: Preparing Your Team for Headshots in One Hour

You don’t need a full-day production to get professional headshots. With a little prep, we can photograph a small team in an hour and still hit a consistent look.

1) Choose one background

Pick a setting that suits your brand: a clean wall, a soft office backdrop, or a simple seamless. Consistency is the goal. If space is tight, I can bring a compact backdrop and lights.

2) Simple wardrobe guidance

Ask everyone to avoid busy patterns and heavy logos. Mid-tones work best on camera; bring a spare top or jacket for a quick swap. Glasses are fine—clean lenses help.

3) Schedule smart

Stagger times in 5–7 minute slots, with a small buffer. Nominate a coordinator to keep people flowing. I’ll handle posing and quick adjustments so no one feels rushed.

4) Keep it relaxed

Most people don’t love being photographed. Clear, friendly direction and a short, confident session help. I’ll show one or two frames on the back of the camera if needed for reassurance.

5) Delivery that fits your channels

You’ll get consistent crops for your website, LinkedIn and internal systems, plus a wider version if you prefer. If your brand needs black-and-white or a particular crop ratio, I’ll match it.

Pro tip: plan a short refresher session every 6–12 months so new joiners and promotions stay up to date across your site and social profiles.
